from an untitled series; a man makes love to a young woman wearing a purple furisode, his striped kimono is draped on the rack in the background, the walls are decorated with kiri (paulownia), as is the noren (cloth curtain) which is signed in seal-form, Koryu, the curve of their bodies is emphasized with karazuri ('blind printing'), ca. 1770-71
