The artist produced this print at the age of fifteen with guidance from his father, the painter and printmaker Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950). This appears to be a somewhat early impression of this print. Later and recent posthumous printings shorten the title to simply 'Tiger,' which is woodblock printed in a manner mimicing the artist's handwritting,
