The verso (inside of the cover) with a monthly reflection on the events of the previous year, including a reference to the sensational story of the female anarchist Kaneko Fumiko (1903-1926), who was sentenced to life in prison for plotting to assassinate members of the Imperial family, but tore up her sentencing and committed suicide (under mysterious circumstances) in her jail cell in 1926.
